Note: This Website Privacy Policy does not govern the collection and use of data on our advertising platform or websites owned by third parties, which will each have their own privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to refer to the Platform Privacy Policy and any third-party websites’ privacy policies for information about such data collection and use practices.

Overview of DeepIntent

DeepIntent is an online marketing and advertising technology platform company specializing in audience insights and media buying. We collect information about you via the Site to provide a more relevant and helpful experience to individuals who are our clients, prospective clients, or interested in learning more about our company. Information We Collect, Store, and/or Access

We may collect the following categories of information about you to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our Site. The information we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us, the choices you make, including your privacy settings, and the features you use. The data we collect may include the following:

  • Information You Provide to Us. We collect and store any information you directly provide to us. This information may include your first and last name, email address, work phone number, and any other similar contact data you may provide to us when you contact us via email or the Site.
  • Account Information. If you register for an account on our learning center, you may also be asked to provide information such as your company name and job title. You may also be asked to provide information if you modify your profile or set preferences through the Site. You also have the option of adding a display name and profile photo to your profile information to be displayed on the Site.

 

  • Automatically Captured Information. We automatically collect information from your device and/or browser when you use our Site. This information is gathered and/or processed solely for the core functionalities of our Site and to improve the quality and security of our Site.
  • Device and Usage Data. We collect data about your device and how you and your device interact with us. For example, we collect:

Retention of Information

We only keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set forth in this Website Privacy Policy (such as for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable law). The cookies we set out on your browser or device expire within 90 days after they were last accessed. We retain all other information, such as your IP address and other information described above, for up to 18 months before we anonymize and/or aggregate except where we need to keep any information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce agreements. When we no longer need any collected information, it is deleted, anonymized, and/or aggregated. If for some reason we are unable to de-identify, delete, or aggregate your information (i.e. if your personal information is archived or included in backup files), then your information will be securely stored and restricted from further processing.

Where We Store and Process Your Information

If you are a user based in the EEA, you should be aware that the information we collect and receive or permit third parties (such as Vendors) to process may be transferred to, stored and/or processed outside of your country of residence and in any country or territory where one or more of our affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, or Vendors (“Related Companies”) are located, including in the United States. Such information will also be processed by personnel operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our Related Companies.

  • Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exemptions.
  • Right of Data Portability.  You have the right to request a portable copy of your personal information, to the extent technically feasible, in a readily accessible format.  
  • Right to opt out of certain uses of your personal information (e.g. targeted advertising, sale, or profiling). We sell or share your personal information in connection with providing our Services.  For example, we may share your IP address or Device information with a Data Vendor to help us understand more about you so that our Clients can determine whether you are the right audience for their ads. You can opt-out of the sale of your personal information, including the sharing of your personal information for targeted or cross-contextual behavioral advertising. Some browsers allow you to opt out of cookie-based and other online tracking, which may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. Currently, we only respond to browser-based opt-out signals sent through the Global Privacy Control. When you opt-out of sale or share via the GPC, we honor that request in the same manner as we honor all do not sell/share requests. We do not respond to do not track or other browser-based signals. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18. 
  • Right to Appeal. You have the right to appeal a decision to not take action on a request
  • Non-Discrimination. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising the rights above.

We do not use your sensitive personal information outside of the purpose for which you provided it to us.
