Our Promise to DeepIntent Employees: Respect, Openness, Opportunity, Trust, Succeeding Together

Last February, before the COVID-19 pandemic turned the whole world upside down, there were about 60 DeepIntent employees. When we closed down our offices, they adapted with remarkable speed, staying connected and collaborating through technologies like Slack and Zoom. While the pandemic lasted longer than we could have predicted, DeepIntent continued to grow.

Inspired by DeepIntent’s passion and commitment to improving patient outcomes with technology, I joined the company the following February. By then, there were 110 DeepIntent employees, a number that has since jumped to 160 in six short months!

As the VP of People Operations, I was tasked with helping DeepIntent scale to meet the future needs of the market, all while embracing an inclusive, welcoming environment that enables people to do their best work, grow their careers, reach their potential, and have fun along the way. In partnership with our leadership team, I set out to achieve that with a promise to all DeepIntent employees that we call ROOTS.

Respect, Openness, Opportunity, Trust, and Succeeding Together. These five core values underpin our commitment to our employees: the foundation of DeepIntent’s continued success.

Respect

Different backgrounds and diversity of thought at any level or function bring unique viewpoints to DeepIntent, helping us innovate and solve problems. Respect is at the core of how we operate and should guide all of our interactions. While we may not always agree with each other’s ideas, we are always respectful in how we treat each other.

Openness

DeepIntent employees can count on senior leadership to be as transparent as possible and not withhold important information, whether good or bad. This also means we don’t avoid difficult conversations and provide timely, constructive feedback to improve how we deliver value both internally and to clients. We believe that this kind of openness builds trust. That leads to not only a better organization but also employee growth.

Opportunity

We believe there is always a better way to deliver value. Every day we experiment, learn and explore new ideas to grow the company and ourselves. DeepIntent employees are encouraged to work with their managers if they’d like to learn about other functional teams.

Trust

When people are given autonomy to do their jobs, we know this is where real growth and innovation occurs. By leading with trust, we empower all DeepIntent employees to exercise good judgment and do the right thing for our clients and the company.

Succeeding Together

We all win when the entire team comes together to support our mission by building genuine connections and leading with empathy.

As we continue our journey of building better healthcare marketing technology that delivers more value to our clients, we are committed to remaining true to these values and ensuring we grow the right way. I’m excited for the road that lies ahead of us.

DeepIntent has grown tremendously over the past year and we’re far from done in hiring for new positions! Click here to see all of our open roles.
