What We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking a Support Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in NYC. You will be responsible for working hand in hand with the Ad Operations team, Engineering team, and Product team to handle escalated technical platform issues. You will work hands-on with leaders at our major customers to provide best-in-class support on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis. You will also be deeply involved with both the Engineering and Product teams to make data-driven decisions that provide an unmatched product for driving better patient outcomes through advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and maintain familiarity with core DeepIntent technologies, including user-facing and backend systems
  • Understand and be able to troubleshoot the end-to-end workflow of a digital advertising campaign as served via a third party tool (i.e. an SSP) or via DeepIntent’s internal Marketplace
  • Receive, reproduce, and prioritize incoming production issues and bug reports from both internal and external Operations and Account Management teams
  • Diagnose and resolve issues where possible
  • Describe and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Provide root-cause analyses to Product Management to ensure roadmap coverage
  • Provide engineering support to Analytical & Ops teams

Who You Are

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and HTTP Protocol
  • Working knowledge of OpenRTB
  • Detailed/expert knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with automation via Python
  • Comfortable with debugging tools

What You’ve Accomplished

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the digital marketing field, with an emphasis on DSP or Programmatic, with at least 1 years in a customer-facing environment
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Java
  • Experience with Python is preferred but not required
  • Preferred experience and understanding of the healthcare industry
  • Familiar with various tools such as: Excel, Tableau, and Google Data Studio
