What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Director, Growth Marketing to join our growing NYC team! This savvy digital marketer will have a deep understanding of the advertising technology space, strong writing/editing experience, and the strategic acumen needed to establish our growth marketing practice and manage a wide variety of digital marketing initiatives. The Director, Growth Marketing is a hands-on role; this person will drive business outcomes by creating and executing innovative email and ad campaigns, owning and optimizing our website, and optimizing our social media strategy.

The right person for this position is a driven, analytical marketer that wants to directly impact revenue at a fast-growing tech startup. They possess a love of owning the process from start-to-finish, is a skilled communicator, inventive problem solver, and is adept at balancing multiple responsibilities.

The Director, Growth Marketing will report directly to the SVP of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Senior Leadership team to develop a growth marketing strategy to support DeepIntent’s trajectory
  • Formulate sustainable campaign strategies that build awareness and consideration of DeepIntent and drive qualified leads
  • Lead results-oriented project timelines, ensuring timely execution of campaigns, including scheduling, working with design, production turnaround, and distribution of materials
  • Coordinate with our Product Marketing, Strategy, Content, and Sales teams to ensure constant alignment between our business goals and our activities
  • Be able to independently manage and use a  wide variety  of marketing technology and tools, including:
    • Social media publisher platforms and social listening tools
    • Site, blog and product content management systems (CMS)  and SEO tools
    • Marketing automation and/or CRM tools
    • Cross-channel measurement and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
    • Creative design tools

Demand Generation:

  • Create and execute email marketing programs, including newsletters, prospect nurture programs and triggered emails to drive demand and measure attributed success
  • Develop audiences, associated strategies (messaging, touchpoints), and measurement/reporting based on revenue goals
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of marketing technology tools to meet the needs of the company and support key use cases and marketing objectives
  • Ensure all requirements are accounted for and ownership is allocated appropriately

Website Management

  • Own website management, content creation and implementation, measurement/reporting, and SEO/optimization
  • Monitor dashboards to figure out positive/negative channel performance

Paid & Social Media

  • Create and implement a social media strategy that grows our social community, increase engagement, and supports marketing objectives
  • Own content creation and execution across our social media channels; support content creation and execution across blogs, newsletters and other outreach
  • Propose, manage, and execute paid media campaigns to support marketing objectives; measure performance and optimize strategy/campaigns based on learnings

Who You Are:

  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising/Adtech space
  • Well-rounded marketing expert with a focus on full-funnel digital marketing (lead acquisition, conversion, and retention)
  • Strategic, analytical thinker who likes to own processes from start-to-finish
  • Skilled analyst with experience in cross-channel performance (site, email, social) measurement, A/B testing, optimization, and data-driven recommendations
  • Skilled communicator, inventive problem solver, very effective multi-tasker
  • Resourceful and responsive to change – thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • A polished presenter and communicator who is comfortable writing, speaking and delivering presentations

What You’ve Accomplished:

  • At least 5 years experience working at a B2B marketing agency or in an in-house B2B digital marketing role; startup, SaaS, tech or healthcare experience a plus
  • 2-3 years of hands-on email marketing experience
  • Experience working with  and managing a broad range of marketing/CRM tools (e.g. Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc)
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g. Sprout, HootSuite, etc)
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google AdWords preferred
  • Familiarity with design/creator tools (e.g. Adobe, Canva, etc)
  • Proficient in both Google Suite & Microsoft Suite products
